He served 20 years as a Naval Aviator, and 20 more as a commercial airline pilot. He gained valuable experience filming and editing his wife’s christian talk show for ten years. Linda graduated from Jacksonville University and went on to earn a Master of Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity from Regent University. She co-hosted the christian talk show, Tea with Maggie and Linda, for ten years. She has held positions as a pastor, President of the Coweta County Ministerial Alliance, and as Executive Director of Ships at Sea. She has also authored three books.
During the ninth year of Tea with Maggie and Linda, the Lord began to talk to Linda about the need for thirty-minute, faith-based, scripted entertainment in the form of a drama/comedy. This was to be a new way of teaching biblical principles that would be available to everyone through either television or the internet. It would be done on a mission’s basis. After writing the first six episodes of Nut’n But The Truth (Nut’n), Linda put word out that she and Tom were looking for actors who were Kingdom minded and could see the vision for the program. Actors were quickly cast and the film crew assembled. To date, seasons one and two have been completed and aired on both the internet and Life! Christian Broadcasting Network. Season three is currently being written and will begin filming in early summer 2020.
The vision has two parts: The first is to create faith-based, family-friendly entertainment with a message. The second is to provide an example for future ministers and youth that content creation is within the reach of most anyone, and is critical to attracting youth and the unchurched to church. We live in the era of media/technology and it must be used for good. We believe the corona virus has shown the importance of media production is. First Season Episodes
